A lot of NES games were called out as hard or extremely difficult to finish. While that era was full of challenging games it also did give us memories we still cherish to this day. Ninja Gaiden was one of the most fan favorites back in the day. It was one of the only games you could let yourself feel like a ninja without it being your imagination.
Ninja Gaiden is a story about a ninja who saves the world from dark evil forces. You have to give credit to the developers, as they did a fantastic job putting this game together as it is. For a game build in its time, the game acted like an inspiration for developers around the globe. You play as Ryu Hayabusa, a warrior who is on a journey to find the rival warrior who killed his father with his legendary family’s sword beside him.
As the journey continues, you will meet more people and even through the jungles of South America. The best aspect of the game was the cut scenes despite the hardware limitations back in the days. Developers managed to do give gamers something rare at that time. As the name suggests, you are a ninja, and you can do things you have dreamed about in the game.
However, the game itself can be pretty tough to deal with, not to mention the amount of time you will have to redo a level. Ninja Gaiden is a game that was tough yet fun to play in my books. The game was worth checking out in the past, and it still is.
